I am a HPC, RCSLT, ASLTIP registered speech & language therapist having worked with adults only in the NHS & the private sector. I focus on person centered goals & have extensive experience in the following areas: COMMUNICATION: assess & treat language & speech difficulties following strokes, acquired head injuries and progressive illnesses. BILINGUAL SERVICE: assess & treat communication difficulties in Arabic without an interpreter. SWALLOWING: assess & manage eating and drinking difficulties. MEDICO LEGAL: trained to write reports for legal cases;acted as SLT facilitator for several Court proceedings by providing aids & strategies needed to ensure a fair trial.
