I am a senior specialist SALT with over 25 years clinical experience. I have worked with adults in a variety of settings including inpatient/outpatient working, domicilliary visits and specialist units. I have specific specialist knowledge of dysphagia, and have also worked extensively with adults with a variety of conditions including acquired brain injury, progressive neurological conditions and challenging behaviour following traumatic brain injury. I have experience of assessing for both low and high-tech AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) systems, and introducing appropriate devices. I am also able to carry out mental capacity assessments and complete any necessary official paperwork.
