was referred by her parents as, although her language was developing well, her speech was unintelligible. Milly's parents were concerned she would be at a disadvantage at nursery school. Milly has mature behaviour and her parents were happy to carry out homework in between weekly sessions. Milly was seen for 8 sessions of therapy working on listening, attention, and word discrimination. At end of therapy her speech production had improved remarkably and she was discharged.
