Kate studied at University College London, graduating in 1999 with a BSc (Hons) in Speech Sciences. She has since worked in a variety of settings in the NHS, always with adults. For 12 years Kate held a senior specialist post, working in a large inner London borough, providing communication and swallowing help to people in their own homes, clinics, workplaces, colleges and care homes, before leaving the NHS to persue independent work.
