Mrs Kathy Clark

I have been a NHS therapist for 9 years. Prior to this I was a Primary School teacher. My dual qualification really helps me appreciate how communication difficulties affect children at school, in terms of their learning and the development of friendships. Children learn best when they feel secure and happy. I try to be sensitive to the needs and character of the child. I am able to offer 1:1 appointments or school visits, working in partnership with school staff and parents. I am experienced in working with children with a variety of speech, language and communication difficulties. Within the NHS I specialise in pre-school children with complex needs including autism and Down Syndrome.
